Preparatory - 3rd to 5th STD
The Preparatory Stage will comprise three years of education building on the play, discovery, and activity-based pedagogical and curricular style of the Foundational Stage, and will also begin to incorporate some light text books as well as aspects of more formal but interactive classroom learning, in order to lay a solid groundwork across subjects, including reading, writing, speaking, physical education, art, languages, science, and mathematics.
The curriculum for grades 3, 4 and 5 is an amalgamation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes as highlighted in the NEP 2020. The curriculum is designed to facilitate age- appropriate knowledge, transversal skills like critical thinking, creativity, communication, student leadership, confidence, emotional and social wellbeing, etc. through efficacious strategies. An integrated approach weaving interdisciplinary projects creates a unique fabric of learning-one that intersperses cognitive and metacognitive elements and enables our children to strive for the extraordinary. Experiential learning, project-based learning, and developing a growth mindset are key areas of focus.
